Concept rendering of a warm café and bar with plants, lounge seating and a live band

Coming to Bend, Oregon

Stay a while.

Morning coffee, really good sandwiches, evening drinks and live music—under one warm, plant-filled roof.

A proposed neighborhood gathering place at the Box Factory
A third place for Bend

Built for the hours between home and work—and the nights you don’t want to end.

Terrapin Station is envisioned as an all-day neighborhood gathering place: calm enough for a morning coffee, welcoming enough for lunch with a friend, and lively enough for drinks and music after dark.

The room will feel collected rather than decorated—warm wood, soft light, greenery, communal tables, deep lounge seating and a stage that feels part of the space.

6am

Easy mornings

Espresso, breakfast and a comfortable place to land.

11am

Lunch, handled

Made-to-order deli sandwiches, crisp sides and quick counter service.

4pm

Meet for a drink

Beer, wine, cocktails and thoughtful nonalcoholic options.

After dark

Live and local

Intimate shows, dancing and evenings built around music.

The nights

Good drinks.
Good people.
Great music.

Terrapin Station draws inspiration from the warmth, openness and improvisational spirit of live music culture. The goal is an intimate room where artists feel close, regulars feel known and newcomers feel invited in.

Programming is expected to include local musicians, touring acts, listening-room sets and nights with enough room to dance.

The neighborhood

Proposed for Bend’s Box Factory.

At the meeting point of the Old Mill District and downtown, the Box Factory is already a place to eat, shop, work out and spend an evening. Terrapin Station is designed to add another reason to stay.

Owner operated

Made by someone who wants to be in the room.

Terrapin Station is led by Bend entrepreneur Bryce Hayworth. His background combines business ownership, nearly six years of front-of-house restaurant experience, and hands-on construction and fabrication work.

This isn’t a concept built from a distance. It is a long-held vision for a cozy, music-centered third place—and a commitment to build the kind of community Bryce wants to be part of.
